Our Alpacas are used to a certain comfort and we want to sell our animals to people who will match the comfort we bring to our Alpacas. Here are some tips to ensure that your future Alpacas are happy and healthy

A shelter that will protect them from the sun, wind, rain and cold

Fresh water and hay available all year round

A 1m50 high welded mesh fence with 2m stakes planted every 2 meters as well as a minimum land area of 1500m2 per Alpaca

Pellets in addition to hay and grass almost all year round

Collection of dung to prevent the spread of parasites

Clipping the nails often enough to prevent the nails from breaking

Alpacas need to be sheared once a year in the spring period.

Do not forget to do a cydectin dewormer if necessary (copro), a vaccine per year (Miloxan), and AD3E and selenium injections if you do not supplement with vitamin pellets (Animal Gestante)

Alpacas are herd animals that cannot live alone. They must be at least 2 of the same sex but ideally we recommend that they be at least 3. We advise against mixing them with other animals because Alpacas are less resistant to parasites than sheep or goats.
